Maddie's Motor Sports: Saving Time and Money with DX1

Maddie’s Motor Sports, a family-owned and operated power sports dealership located in Dansville, NY, needed a partner that could help them achieve their business goals. “Our goal as a dealership is to be able to gain profitability on every OEM and every department,” said Graham Marcus, Owner of Maddie’s Motor Sports.

DX1 is helping Maddie’s track and analyze their business. “Since we've moved to DX1, we've been able to identify the three major departments in our dealership: Sales, Service and Parts,” said Marcus. “We’ve been able to start looking at which brands are making us the most money, which departments we are doing the best in and which areas we need to improve on.”

With DX1’s single platform featuring a DMS, lead manager, responsive website and online marketing tools, they are now doing “90% of [their] tasks in one location”, which is helping them to get “a lot more organized,” said Marcus.

Manufacturer data available in DX1 is saving Maddie’s Motor Sports time not having to input “tens of thousands of parts numbers.” “Somebody buys a machine, it logs everything in [DX1]. They bring it back for service, it's linked to their account. Everything is streamlined and comes together,” said Marcus.

DX1’s Schedule Pricing feature helps Maddie’s promote special pricing on rebate units and not have to worry about changing the price back once the rebate period has ended. By scheduling an expiration date, no one has to remember to log in and manually change the pricing back.

The responsive feature of DX1’s dashboard allows the sales team to receive and respond to leads quickly, whether they’re at their desktop computer, or elsewhere, with their tablet or smartphone. DX1’s lead assignment feature is getting the leads in front of them within minutes. “We’re contacting the customer on average in under an hour, which is huge because they’re interested, [and our call] keeps them excited and we’re moving forward. That’s enormous,” says Marcus.

Marcus sums up DX1 with, “if you invest in the whole platform and you really jump in, you're going to get the time savings and the money savings right off the bat. As you learn about all the intricacies of [DX1], then it just gets magnified.”
